AquaTex liquid impregnation treatment is a good solution when you want to refresh the water-repellent effect on larger areas of your awning. It is suitable for larger surfaces of the awning fabric or for treating the whole awning.

Over time, the protection of the awning fabric can be weakened by use, wind, weather and cleaning. This can mean that the awning fabric no longer repels water as effectively as before. AquaTex is ideal when you want to give the awning fabric a thorough treatment after cleaning.

AquaTex liquid impregnation treatment is available in 1 L, 2.5 L and 5 L, so you can choose the size that suits your needs. If you only need to treat seams, joints or smaller areas, AquaTex is also available as an impregnation spray for more precise application on smaller areas.

How to use AquaTex: For the best effect, the awning must be completely clean and dry before impregnation. Brush or vacuum the awning fabric while it is dry, then wipe the fabric with a damp cloth. For more thorough cleaning, we recommend using a suitable cleaning product for awnings. Apply AquaTex in an even layer using a spray bottle or garden sprayer. Avoid hitting the windows – and wipe them immediately if impregnation gets on them. Always allow the material to dry completely before folding the awning away. AquaTex is fully cured after approx. 1.5 hours at 20 °C.
